This makes a lot of sense. When it comes to an API, write out your developer howto first, and then develop the API to do what you’ve written that it will do.

Christmas Cheer
I’ll admit that I’ve never been a big fan of Christmas. It’s super high stress, finances are strained and instead of getting to relax and just hang out with friends and family, you find yourself constantly working your butt off to entertain family and friends.
Not this year! This year I’m forcing myself into uber-Christmas-cheer mode. I got a bit of a jump start on my shopping, so I won’t be completely last-minute shopping. We’re going to get an awesome tree and go a little overboard on decor. It’s not even the mid-point of the month, and I’ve already consumed eggnog.
I’m actually going to take some time off around Christmas this year too. Not entirely sure what that’s going to look like yet, but I plan on shutting down the computer for at least a few days around the holidays.
