Christmas in July

Author copiesMy copies of the book arrived today. I’m not sure who was more excited: me, or the boys who got to go through and explain the various bug images to me and play with the packing material. I was really hoping that they would arrive before we head off to Ontario this week.

The book looks great, really nice production quality. It’s funny how it didn’t feel completely real right up until I held it in my hands. I’m also looking forward to the first time I see it on the shelf in a bookstore — that’ll be pretty cool.Starting the kids' education early

It’s a bit of a relief to have that done now. I’m not sure why, but the whole process was a lot more work than I thought. It was a really interesting process, and I’d probably do it again; maybe I’ll just take a break for a little while….

Congrats on the book! Very cool.
We should get that in the curriculum at the U, they could use a course in “proper” web site creation.
