Foundation Website Creation: The Book

51Er62hZJzL._SL500_AA240_.jpg I’m happy to report that the book is done, and will be available to the general public very shortly.

The final title came in as “Foundation Website Creation with CSS, XHTML, and JavaScript” which, between us author-folk and the marketing powers-that-be rang through as the most accurate description of what this book is about. What isn’t included in the title, however, is that this book covers the entire process of developing a web site; from planning it out, to managing it through development, to putting it together and launching it. There’s a lot of good advice for both freelancers, and people working in house on web development projects.

As of this writing, we’re #34 in the JavaScript category on Amazon, #41 in XHTML and #42 in CSS. Why not head over and pick yourself up a copy, and let’s see if we can get those numbers down a bit? :-)

Please do note that the authors have changed from what’s listed. Amazon and Chapters have yet to pick up on the fact that the roster of authors includes Meitar Moscovitz and Joseph Lewis (as well as myself).

Update: Up to 38 in XHTML and 40 in CSS!

It’s nice to see those Amazon figures, isn’t it? It was really fun getting to work on this project with you Jonathan. You’ve got a lot of helpful stuff to say in this book!
