The Communicate Value Pack ($20) is an add-on to phone plans and offers unlimited on-device browsing (meaning no tethering), voicemail, call display, name display, 2,500 text messages, 1,000 MMS messages. This seems to pave the way for a Canadian iPhone introduction.
There are some concerning footnotes on the page about how this plan is not eligible for use on PDAs, Blackerries and non-Rogers certified devices. I’m going to call later today and try the honest approach of “I’m using an iPhone because it’s a great phone, I can has unlimited data plz?”
After spending an entire day downgrading and then re-upgrading the firmware on my phone [sigh], I can’t wait for an official iPhone launch in Canada.
Update: Bah! Rogers. They’re really a good case study in what not to do for customer service.

I hope Bell and Telus follow through with competitive offers. And I hope they apply to share plans.
Let me know what response Rogers gives regarding the iPhone. I can has unlimited data too?
