Now I can rest assured that there’s a good gender or ethnic balance, and not necessarily the best candidate. So based off of this policy, we could have two candidates — a male with a LLB and 30 years of policy-making/political experience, and a woman with a high school diploma (I’m speaking hypothetically of course) and the woman will receive the nomination.
Wow, the provincial NDP is even dumber than the national NDP. That says a lot.
I should really stop reading CBC news. Politics just piss me off.

Actually, they aren’t any dumber than the national NDP, who do the same thing. So do the Liberals, for that matter.
I agree, CBC news sucks. They’ve been a mouth piece for the Liberal Party of Canada for decades. I find CTV’s coverage to be much more balanced.
In general, the NDP are a little too bleeding-heart-liberal for me. It bugs me that they criticize budget cuts on some things but don’t have a realistic alternative option. Spending 10 trillion dollars on social programs is great, but personally I’d hate for Canada’s economy to collapse because of poor fiscal policies.
