It’s been a painfully long time since my last post. It’s not that I’ve forgotten about my loyal reader out there, it’s that things have been a little busy.

I’m happy to report that the move is complete. We’ve got about 4 boxes left to unpack, and more than likely they’ll be they four that take the next 8 months to unpack (oh, YOU KNOW what I’m talking about). We’ve settled in, and I’ve managed to set up shop. I’m sharing a room with Reilly right now, so it means my work hours are limited. I’m trying to decide if it’s a good thing or a bad think that I’m completely unable to burn the midnight oil.

Over the past while, I’ve been playing catch up with the work that had piled up pre-move. I’m starting to come out on top of it, but there’s still a ways to go. I’ve had to shift some of my plans regarding business startup (it’s still happening, things are just happening in a different order), and really look at my priorities. I’m trying to get ahead in a few areas now (like school) so that the pressure is off later on.

I’ll likely be posting most photos to Flickr (http://www.flickr.com/photos/lanej0/) the latest of which get pulled in on the home page here. I’m probably also going to do a major overhaul on the blog in the near future, I’ll probably shift 95% of my posts over to a new category, “Archives”, and create a new set that better suit what I’ll be writing about from now on. It’s a bit of a way to put the past behind me, without deleting all of my previous posts.
